The peristaltic pump was first used as a well pump in 1855. Gradually, the peristaltic pump was modified and used for blood transfusion in 1881. Peristaltic pump, also known as hose pump, is a rotor type positive displacement pump composed of peristaltic pump driver, pump head and hose, used to control flow. Among these components, the hose is composed of elastic materials such as rubber and multilayer composite materials, and the rest is metal hardware. The hose is the only part of wear and tear. When the peristaltic pump is damaged, we only need to replace the hose. The operating principle of a peristaltic pump is like pressing a hose filled with liquid with a finger.  When the finger slides forward, the liquid in the tube will move forward. The peristaltic pump mainly relies on the driver to generate power and the pump head starts. The roller dust will squeeze the hose, forcing the elastic hose to alternately compress and release, thereby completing the working process of the peristaltic pump.

The pump head of the peristaltic pump is mainly a squeezing working mechanism, which is connected with the rollers of the continuous compression infusion hose, and the rollers driven by the driving component rotate. The pump head is a very important part, and its quality directly affects the quality of the entire product. The material is generally metal or engineering plastic. The flow type peristaltic pump is similar to the peristaltic pump with adjustable speed. It can control the amount of fluid in the pre-pressure pump; intelligently adjust the flow and other functions. 4. The characteristic of custom type peristaltic pump is that the pump head can be replaced or customized, which is the characteristic of custom peristaltic pump.
