Using traditional physicochemical or biological methods to treat landfill leachate is not only ineffective and difficult to meet the standard, but also has problems such as large occupied area and long construction time If MBR process including nanofiltration and reverse osmosis is adopted for treatment, there will be various problems such as high investment, complex process, high operating cost and secondary pollution caused by the treated concentrated solution.
Generally, domestic garbage contains various organic and inorganic wastes, and the high-concentration organic wastewater produced by domestic garbage accumulation and fermentation needs to be removed before entering the incinerator for incineration. The water in the garbage will be collected in the landfill leachate collection pool, and the collected leachate will be precipitated by the landfill leachate sedimentation pool, initially precipitating solids with relatively large particles. Peristaltic pump for treatment landfill leachate is used to transport the leachate to the filter to filter out the solid particles that cannot be precipitated. The filtered leachate is pumped to the clear liquid pool, and finally, the landfill leachate without solid particles is sprayed into the incinerator for combustion through the atomizing nozzle through the peristaltic pump.
Peristaltic pump started in the middle of last century. After decades of development, it has gradually developed from low-pressure peristaltic pump in laboratory to high-pressure peristaltic pump applied in industrial field. The flow rate also ranges from milliliters per hour to tens of cubic meters per hour. It is also known and familiar by more and more customers.
Customers have given positive comments on the application of peristaltic pump for treatment landfill leachate. They think that peristaltic pump for treatment landfill leachate is more suitable for use than other positive displacement pumps.
They have the following advantages:
(1) Less vulnerable parts, low failure rate and easy maintenance. In terms of economic benefits, the only component to be replaced is hose, which greatly reduces the use cost and maintenance cost of customers.
(2) It can be turned dry. This is also the characteristic of peristaltic pump for treatment landfill leachate, and it will not damage the pump itself when there is no medium suction at the inlet end, which is especially suitable for the occasion they require, because there is no staff to take care of it on site.
(3) It can transport medium with high solid content and high wear resistance. For up to 80% solid content that can be delivered by peristaltic pump for treatment landfill leachate, the viscosity can be delivered to 50000cps. These do not have any problems for the highly abrasive particles in landfill leachate.
(4) High self-suction force. Compared with other types of positive displacement pumps, the theoretical self-priming height can reach 9.5m. Generally, the leachate is in the storage tank, so a pump with high self-suction force is needed to suck up the leachate and then deliver it to the filter or incinerator.
(5) After installing the variable frequency motor, the working frequency of the motor can be easily adjusted according to the actual amount of landfill leachate to be treated, and the linear change of flow rate can be achieved. Therefore, the whole landfill leachate re-spraying system has simple operation and high automation degree.
(6) The inside of the pump cavity is easy to clean. When transportation is not needed, the bypass pipe at the inlet and outlet ends can be opened to clean the hose and prolong the service life of the hose.
