What is the meaning of hose pump?

Hose pump belongs to the category of peristaltic pumps. The peristaltic pump is a rotor volumetric pump whose operating principle is similar to that of the digestive tract. It transports gas, solid and liquid three-phase media in a peristaltic manner. There is no strict difference between a hose pump and a peristaltic pump. Generally speaking, peristaltic pumps refer to small flow (ml/min) and low outlet pressure (3 kg/cm2 or less), and are mainly used for sanitary and laboratory measurements. Hose pumps refer to large flow (maximum 80 cubic meters/hour) and high power pressure (maximum 16 kg/cm2), and are mainly used for large flow transportation and measurement in industrial situations.

The working process of the hose pump is as follows:

1. The peristaltic pump flow path compresses the elastic hose and maintains a seal before and after the pressure point.

2. When the pressure wheel rotates, the pressure point of the hose will move accordingly. Due to the elasticity of the hose, when the pressure wheel leaves, the hose on the inlet side of the pump rebounds naturally, and the inlet pipe generates negative pressure and sucks in liquid.

3. When the rotor of the peristaltic pump rotates continuously, the fluid in the hose will be continuously discharged.

The peristaltic pump has the following characteristics:

1. Cleaning: The pumped liquid only needs to pass through the hose and will not contaminate the pump body. After replacing the hose, various liquids can be transported.

2. Accuracy: The flow can be accurately controlled and adjusted, with an accuracy of 5 to 2%. The current flow range of Jieheng peristaltic pump is single channel 0.01ml/min~36L/min.

3. Self-priming characteristics: no need to pump oil, dry operation, maximum suction range up to 8 meters.

4. Shut-off valve characteristics: The pressure point of the flow channel of the peristaltic pump keeps the hose closed at all times and has the function of closing the valve.

5. Positive and negative rotation: By changing the direction of the motor, the conveying direction can be changed, and the forward and reverse rotation can be easily realized and sucked back.

6. No shear: The liquid transport in the peristaltic pump is realized by the peristaltic hose, so the fluid in the pipeline is not sheared. Compared with orange fruit particles, the fragile particles in the liquid will not be destroyed by pumping.
